Lady Of The Moon (Dedicated To Sandra) By: Noah Eaton 11/3/01 She lays in her white nightgown, dreaming on a crescent moon Her hands concealing her broken heart, lost of love that seemed true Wishing ever so much for a chance to love again and always And so she dances on the moon like Cinderella, lamenting to go to the ballroom She recites her lunar capriccio, treading loves empyreal visions Cinnamon spice and vanilla dreams scents her loving face Searching for the angelic prince her heart yearns for Blowing kisses in the distance, her love shining through sorrows haze Dream on, sweet Sandra, dream on the moon of your heart like a rocking chair Look up to the stars, for there is one special star that beacons for you The prince of your dreams will come and sweep you off your feet Cradling you dearly next to his beating heart to yours someday soon She is our sweet Catalinamoon, the lovely friend and lady of the moon Weaving moonlight dreams and reveries of friendship and romance We all love you so much, and will sing on the day you find your love For the creed of the moon is the spirit of all our dreams, to forever last… [This message has been edited by Mistletoe Angel (edited 11-03-2001).] |
