congratulations
i heard the joy within your voice
"It is a BOY!"
I didn't grudge you, but a bit--
I wish that I had been your choice.

Take care of her.
Take of him.
Tiny fingers
strong but thin....
tiny fingers
you let in...
the drawbridge down--
the troops in spin.

I always knew
it was not me--
too much of fight,
and blood to bleed...

A futile farmer planting seed,
beneath the unrelenting sun--
I thought you might have need of me
and prayed that I might be the one...

I release you. Let you go.
But I think that you should know
each time I think of you released
my soul's a shot of gut bleed free--
always, never echoed be
the spill of my own blood from me
everything you were to me?

Was never anything to you.

Oh Karen, unbelievable how you do this. And in the middle of the night, too. I see you sleep about as well as I do.
I am in the same place, letting go and bleeding all the while. Thanks for saying it so well.

always, never echoed be

oh damn that line goes thru me.......
(YKTIKTYK...IK)
setting butterflies free is never easy when you've become accustomed to their beauty
heart-hugs me twin

This distance has shown how the road remains alone
Now I'm looking in my life ... for a truth that is my own.
