Not What He Expected

I'm not what he expected at all.
I'm much, too loyal and true.
He wanted someone, who wouldn't care,
about him, the way that I do.

He wanted someone to be with,
without caring, about a tomorrow.
Taking advantage of time, with no
regrets, no worries or sorrow.

I'm not what he expected at all.
He didn't think, I would cross loves line.
I wonder if he has, any regrets about me,
not being what he thought he would find?

He wanted his life left untouched,
and someone to fill up his time.
Someone to be with, a some time love,
Someone that could be left behind.

No, I'm not what he wanted at all.
And I'm sorry, if I've been his mistake.
I wish I could be all that he wanted,
For no reason, other then for his sake!

My love was denied others, for some reason.
Why my heart chose him, I can't say.
I know I'm not what he expected but...
I have no regrets that it turned out this way.

If you can't make it so,
you need to let it go!

(big hugggsssss) Oh Kitty, this is so so sad and I pray that he finds what his heart expects, just as you do. (sad sigh) This is so so sad but also I know you did the right thing, and your love and compassion shines through every word! (sigh) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet kitty, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

hmmmmm...I can feel  for some of this although, if not what he expected and only wanting a temporary..I think I may make  some changes...an interesting write.

And what do you expect or want? There are so many people who want a longterm meaningful relationship, I say why bother with the short termers? But I found myself in a similar spot once before, and he probably doesn't even remember my name.

With a name like yours, how could I stay away?  This is a very sweet poem.  I promise I won't kick ya, regardless of what everybody else says about me.
