Desperado

I don't know why she
couldn't fall in love.
I know why I could
and yet my desires
were unappreciated
and my intentions
misunderstood.

It all seems
so desperate
to give one's
love away
to someone who
has no love to share
and no desire to stay.

I don't understand that either James. Sometimes their are wounds that people won't ever let heal. Which makes it very hard to trust. I say one must always give love a chance. For we can't let our past chain us to the fence. Very good write!
