flowing surging surfacing I feel it the heat of emotions spreading like a wild fire taking over my face you can hide a frown you can gulp down tears but you can never stop the betrayal of flushed cheeks tongue tied and overwhelmed the splash of red says it all just breathe I tell myself saturated in my inner turmoil and exposed for all to see Your beautiful words & creativity allow me to connect with the same in myself. |

~Gosh,...I know that you _just_ posted this, but I figured I'd grab one more read before running out the door, my, you have nailed this. How I scramble inside my head with these thoughts when this happens to me, it's so unavoidable, and you've brought it on the same. Wonderful work. *Peace. And thanks. |

I know this feeling very well. Some of us where our hearts on our sleeve for the world to see, (and play with) while others can hide theirs so far down, they can't even find it. Really great write, on a subject I beleive all poets can relate to. Poetic verse nestled in the warmth of my heart, reveals the sweet yearnings of my soul.... |

Liked this one! Funny thing about blushing, men do it too. They will deny it, of course. ~hugs~ smiles ~Marie~ |

Spitfire~ hehe, there's always a "one more poem before I head out the door" Thanks for grabbing mine! And thank you for the sincere reply. It's good to hear that I'm not alone, 'though I wouldn't wish the feeling on anyone! *hugs* A Whisper's Caress~ Woo..that's a mouthful (your name), but a pleasant mouthful You are right that some people wear their hearts on their sleeves and others don't. I don't know which I am yet. I think maybe I'm a heart on her sleeve person in denial Thank you for taking the time to read and ponder with me *hugs* Nancy~ hehehe, your reply made me giggle Ramble away! But yes, don't forget to breathe *hugs back* James~ Wonderful?? Naaah...not for me anyway. I hate when I blush! Marie~ Hehe, so true! Thanks for the giggle and hugs *hugs back* Marge~ well now look what you've done! Your enthusiasm humbles me sweet poetess Thank you for the smile, as always! *hugs back* SH~ you stop You're the worst for making me blush! But at least it's the rosey blush of love which is really not a bad thing. Just....blushy! I love you too Your beautiful words & creativity allow me to connect with the same in myself. |
