how many more mornings will I wake up and not see the sun because the clouds of loss brought shadow into my life? How often will I remember the laughter when you held me and the tears when you said Goodbye? how many nights will I lay huddled into myself crying silent tears Because you are no longer here? How did you make me feel so cherished and in the end make me feel like nothing? how long do the memories remain so clear sneaking into my thoughts and making a good day go sad? how long does it take to heal a broken heart so that it might be strong enough to someday love again? how can I mean nothing to you? how could you lie to a heart like mine? how does it feel to know you were the first to get beyond my defenses only to shatter my soul?
