On This Starry Night

On this starry night of endless sky
Let the dream begin with just a sigh
Let me wonder at each star-lit beam
For I have a thousand dreams to dream

On this evening under autumn moon
Let my heart in rapture be consumed
Let this be the moment I will find
Another love, if only in my mind

Let enchantment pour from glowing light
Draped around me in the deep of night
Sparkling in the depth of someone’s eyes
Gazing jewels that have me mesmerized

I am ready for a new romance
Let the music play, let lovers dance
Don’t let love unspoken pass me by
On this starry night of endless sky

Beautifully expressed, Liz!

I long for this too!

Take care,

What a lovely piece, and with perfect rhythm.

I am ready for a new romance
Let the music play, let lovers dance

I hope you find it.

Hold on to that dream and those starry nights--Before you know it you will be sharing that with someone special under a brilliant moon.

Liz, this one is making me starry eyed.
"When you wish upon a star...
your dreams come true"
Remember that song?
Now, let's go out and pick out some stars, there are millions of them out there, just waiting for each of us.
But how to find the right one??????

Ah, I sighed...
On this starry night of endless sky
Let the dream begin with just a sigh...and remembered, "When you wish upon a star...may all your dreams come true"...and I sighed at the end too   Dreamy, romantic, and oh full of gentle sighs.

There is something to be said about the stars.
They carry a certain romance and mystery in their twinkle.

Beautiful words Elizabeth.
May your wish come true, and may it be the brightest
and most beautiful star you can find!
