Between the Lines

Still waiting...
for those first steps, sounds
caught on the breeze
of a summer's day.

Your eyes...
confessing need,
painting my body erotic,
sifting through memories.

Watching you...
with a hint of mind shadows,
wrapping myself up
in remembering when.

Caught up...
in the addicted to,
escaping into kisses
of a love forgotten.

I'd walk away...
into tomorrow
saving the last dance
for only you.

Very well done GF...I especially enjoyed the last stanza...melancholy, yet beautiful.
