In Yesterday's Fragrance

~*Marge Tindal*~

In yesterday's fragrance, discreetly worn
I come now to you in sweetest adorn
Refreshed memories, enticingly new
delighting your senses with love imbued

Soft against your cheek, in snuggled delight
Sculpting new memories into the night
Embodying heat in passionate rise
arduous reflections mirrored in eyes

Billowing of scents emitted on sighs
As yesterday's fragrance is recognized
All of the pleasures brought into recall
shared in a moment of giving our all

Lap of love's luxury found in a glance
Yesterday's fragrance is tonight's romance

nicely done... the additional use of the sense of smell in this adds the depth and the allure of memorized moments... and repeating those pleasures

I enjoyed

Fragrance comes, familiar makes the heart drum,
Arriving first, from behind making me twist
Round to see, already know whom it’ll be,
Familiar, just part of the whole of her.

JanetMarie~
Thanks, sweetie.
Actually I figured out it was a muse gang up of Callie and Mona ...
they do present me with a romantic thought or two.

I'm really glad you like it.

Yannose, I absolutely love it when the love comes out of you in buckets like this!  I know this was supposed to be a romantic poem, but know what it reminded me of?  The fresh smell of that power by Gramma used, and it always made me smile and then sneeze!  Lovely Mz. Romatic Maiden.
