We are quilted by the same human thread
Why do some feel escaped from the cloth?
As if they veil a secret
More pure than blood, sweat & tears

Whereas they become, silk
We are plain canvas
We are art, waiting to be painted
Molded, scribed for all eternity

They rot
And cry ruin, at one spill
We come to life, with the slip
Of the masters hand
We are signed priceless

They Await the glass slipper match
To be sewn in splendor
To be catwalked in magnificence, but once
We wrap the backdrop of life, seamless

A painting in real colors will always be easily interpreted. Enjoyed.

What can I say? but how true. The gown of the catwalk is worn and discarded, beneath the mask is a man/woman with the same coat as us all. Naked and cold without the brush of cover and dignity, we await the artist of life and love to arrive and work.

Nice write rwood.

More layers than a French birthday cake...  I think I'll "savour" each one and try not to get "heartburn"...
