Sound of Silence

My poetic dreams
reached out to silence.
Romantic schemes in need of silence.
Magical moments having come and gone
seeking solace from everyone
and now I find myself
yearning for no one
except for the
sound of silence.

Your lovely words never fall silent here SBJ...
they speak poetic volumes, and your heart
well done poet sir

only you could give love that satisfies the soul...
see the darkness of my heart and still won't let me go.

Won't find this in a club...  Silence can be more dramatic and important than all the cacophony which enshrouds it.  Sometimes, a little "nothing" is all that's called for...  Nice flow, James.

I agree, James. Nice work, and a feeling of sadness seeps through.

Perfect James...I think we all long for the silence at times...release from all the voices we hear...

I like this one, we all need to "hear" the silence.
