It spoke to me
In shades of pale
With images faded
And barely scenic
Of times past

Memories shared

And love’s loss

Still I framed it
With dark mat
To accentuate
The contrast
Of seeping
Colored
Time

I see a sheet of silver outlined by a black mat...

and it is lovely in its barrenness....

As with everything else I've read from you, this is very thought provoking. Pondering it brings up a few memories of my own that feel a bit faded.
