I’ve slid on an S
And teetered on a T
Fallen through an O
Been forked with an E

Speared by a V
And hung up on U
Derailed by an N
And punctured by Q

I’ve been failed by F
And hooked by J
Double crossed by X
Left wondering by A

Dangerous letters all
These symbols so caustic
Most unfriendly they are
To refuse my acrostic

Very interesting in a
Unique way
Not the usual
Queenly form
Favored for most
Just a simple look inside
X-ray style
At tripping over letters

this was so much fun to read, quite a spoof on acrostics, you handled those letters despite their disagreeable natures, well done!!!

Aye ,then 'tis true . I'd heard rumors of this , but surely M'Lord will not tolerate such an up-rising within his kigndom .  By your leave , your Majesty , as your military advisor , I offer this humble solution ...

When attacked by the letters ( foot-soldiers to words )
Take heart in the knowledge that what you must say
couldn't possibly be by the half as absurd
than what would be written if they had their way

There's gen'ral confusion who leads the whole pack
according to rules which we're not privy to ,
and Lieutenant Lost ( who may never come back )
but it's not quite hopeless as yet " King " Andrew .

Grasp firmly that pen which has power they say,
(much more than the swords that these scoundrels might wield )
and hack through their midst 'til  victorious
day
a " King " such as yourself, will have caused them to yield

Interloper:  Thanks for lopping my way.

Sir Tabin:  Glad you enjoyed.
Vicky:  Smiles right back at cha.
VAS:  Just me having some fun.  Thanks for the comment.
General Doc Moose:  If not for the constant leak of my pen I would write these letters into a word of two!  Thanks for the laugh… I may be the KING, but YOU DA MAN… ahhhh MOOSE!
Paula: Glad I could tickle your fancy.
2dalimit: I’ll do my best to supply.  Thanks for stopping by.
