Don't feel sorry for me  , cause this is just fiction

What do you do
when feelings are hurt so deep
you crawl inside yourself
in silence you will weep

What do you do
when that doesn't stop the pain
you put a mask on your face
and do not show this strain

What do you do
when you are not able to talk
you have to go on living
escape sometimes, take a walk

What do you do
if you feel you are not so strong
you build a wall of protection
to keep outside the wrong

That's what you do
what else is there to say
you know this is not right
but it's your only way

A rose is a rose is a rose...I guess...

Titia, Yes, this is sometimes what you have to do, until your heart feels lighter. Good one. Chris

Titia~
What a very interesting read~

'What do you do
when you are not able to talk
you have to go on living
escape sometimes, take a walk'

I have a little meadow
it lays there in my mind
When I need serenity
it's easy for me to find

I wallow in the meadow
with only myself for company
Oh, perhaps a kite on lift of wind
takes my worries from me

As I retreat to the meadow
I'm often refreshed anew
By laying back and listening
to the evening lay down her dew

There is a quiet hush
that falls over me
Then I breathe deeply and return
to the land of reality~

But ... it is enough~
*Hugs*

I write poems, journals, short stories, and if I want I can share them or not when I feel well. I have a sanctuary in my garage. It's my place away from it all.

Throw your heart out in front of you
And run out to catch it.

I go and write a poem about it, as I think all of us do.  Joyce
