You took my heart , stomping it into the ground until there was little more left than shreds blowing in the wind ~ but I survived. You took my dreams, one by one fading them until they evaporated into the mists of nevermore ~ but I survived. You took my hopes, filled with promises of tomorrow and turned them into nightmares that were born in the past~but I survived. You took my heart, you took my dreams, you took my hope, you ran away with them all and tried to seclude them in the little cacoon that has become the sustenance of your life ~ but I~ I survived! Enchantress I'm still just sort of trying to get alot of emotions out. I am feeling so many different things right at the moment, and I am grateful for the saving grace of being able to put it into words, and to vent it out here at passions. Thanks.... Gentle Spirit, Hang in there lady. To survive is a good start, but remember after the pain you must start to live again. Wrap up in a protective cocoon and survive, but emerge a beautiful butterfly and soar. Death comes not when we cease to breathe, but when we cease to dream. |
