Alas my love the sword of destiny has
cleaved its path through our hearts
Not a trodden path of wisdom, a path
of anger felt deep within you
For you handled the cold weapon of
a loves destruction
Now we stare and watch the embers
of cupids work fade.

Shall I doff my hat in summery
showers to bid you farewell?
Or sit and wait for the waves
of sorrow to crash upon my armour,
drowning the screams of a man so wronged.

Pity not me my angel, for pity is the
product of web-weavers, A web I have
been set free of, forever.

Minds eye, eyes my own mind my dear
once I  have tasted this chalice of
malice, its bitter sharp edge needs
no reminder of whats in store for the unwarey.

Draw into your web of desire and crush
hearts of men, men, good men alas I was
of this mettle....

Richy

hope you all like it out there
