Unbeliever

what a fool I was
to think
I could change you
with my love
when there was
something bigger
you wanted
to be part of
and the real truth
is no matter
how hard you try
you can’t
another change
they have  to want
to be different
not same behavior
to rearrange
I use to believe
in magic
and in miracles
but along the way
lost my
faith and trust
and found magic
is fantasy
another type of dust
for in reality
it’s just
a slight of hand
quicker than the
eye can see
no longer a believer
in things
never to be

"...the rest is silence" (Hamlet)  Shakespeare

Though your subject is not encouraging, your poetry continues to be . . .

Very Good Write!!!
Sad but True

Remember the magic doesn't happen in our time but in the one who controles time, time....

I understood your words well and nearly stunned, I read...

not same behavior
to rearrange

you rewrite the essence of my experience.

How beautifully written. How sad.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

Now that's sad~
I'm betting that you'll find the magic again~
And it will dazzle you~
