flying

When in this hour, in deep despair, I hear
the voice of one lost in the land of hate,
the waste of love as the shadow draws near
and dreams eaten, I pause, perhaps too late

to imagine in all these years the moon
dying of neglect.  I listen as one
shudders on the edge, the call of Neptune
in one ear, and wish, flying for the sun,

that I might grant you solace.  Were it mine
to give it so, I would.  And mine to give
chance, I would.  To shape the sky, and time
turn back, to move the Earth, give cause to live,

push God, I would.

I am flying to the chasm of the crest.
And this is my hand.
Make a wish.

Great lines and verses and the format is excellent!

"that I might grant you solace.  Were it
                   mine
to give it so, I would.  And mine to give
chance, I would.  To shape the sky, and
                   time
turn back, to move the Earth, give cause
                   to live,

                   push God, I would.  "

I'll take solace in your words anyway and thank you for the depth of this write!

Oh, WOW, how amazingly beautiful. I think I will take that hand, if you don't mind. I have been needing a boost out of this dream eating place.
Thanks

MirrorMan~
Again, you mesmerize ....

'I listen as one
shudders on the edge, the call of Neptune
in one ear, and wish, flying for the sun,
that I might grant you solace.'

Oh ... stunning~
And with the music ... even more stunning~
