Choose Your Word

hand me
a word
as old as time
make it simple
so I can
make it mine
not the one
that the sound
of silence brings
I want
the warm one
that resonates and rings
it wraps you
so tight
to welcome you in
no punctuation
so there is
no end
once said
no doubt
it is heard
this wonderful
never ending
timeless word
