lovely cool
has graced this summer morn
and placed Cat’s face
lingering in lovely rays
while girth of body
basks in shade
lapping up
two distinct summer worlds
in purrs
twitches
and dreams

I have a habit of taking things pretty literally most of the time, so I guess that makes me a weird poetry critic hehe I'll just stick with this statement:  I felt as though I were lying under a tree with that little kitty.  Thanks for the mental picture!
