My Sister's Friend (please read)

I am leaving this poem for a lady who has spent most of the day in surgery. My twin sister Taundra has a friend that is in need of prayers. Her name is "Vic" Please, please! send some prayers. She is a wonderful person.I don't have a single picture of Taundra so I am adding one with all my sisters.

From left to right, My twin sister Taundra, Saundra, my oldest sister Teri and my little sister Darla. It's huge but I don't know how to make it smaller. It really doesn't matter though. Just that prayers go out for "Vic" matters. Thanks.

My Sister's Friend

Dear God, if I bowed my head right now before you
Would you take in the sincerity of my heart?
For I stand so sad for my sister and her eternal friend
That unfair life today finds them worlds apart...

I woke with desperation to find my sister's friend out there
That she be of your light during this day planned for her
And, Oh, I felt the heaviness my sister carried all night through
For I felt the kind of friends that these two were...

Today my sister's friend is relying on whatever you, God, decide
And, today my sister is trying so hard to rely on faith
Either one of them want to say good-bye to all they have
God, they need like the sun and a flower on a warm spring day...

Ever so kind are they blessed with each others soul
Is one more lifetime really to much to ask?
My sister's friend is out there fighting for just one more chance
While my sister is fighting fear with everything she has...

The miles are many that stretch between these two hearts today
But, God, make clearly their prayers understood
Somehow, tell my sister's friend that prayers will still linger on
That my sister would be there holding her hands if she surely could...

A wish, some hope, and so many prayers
Will be in every breath all day through
My heart goes out to the both of them with all I have
Dear God, would you believe I am so heart broken, too?...

I'm sure that everyone who reads this poem will add Vic to their prayer list. You and your sister too. Will hope for a happy outcome.

Saunni you know I know this pain your sister is feeling for I felt it for weeks, so I give Taundra and Vic all my prayers, and I also send them for you too sweet one. May God Bless honey, and I hope all goes well, and I am sure it will. Keep your spirits up and just be there for each other. Huge hugs.
