A single hand reaching towards the light,
Through the dark, beyond the night,
Do you love as I love, do you fear what it is I fear,
Can you see what I see, do you hear what it is I hear,

The colors of my fantasy, the whispers of my dreams,
The sunlight shining down, in liquid golden beams,
The shadow of eternity, the rhythm of my heart,
The promise of forever, that this is just the start,

Reach beyond all space and time so that you might finally fly,
Do you taste the moonlight, did you touch the velvet sky,
Do you see the rainbow, can you feel the heat,
Do you smell the rain, as it falls upon your feet,

Do you hear the lullaby, a child sweetly laughing,
Do you feel the presence of eternity, of true love ever lasting,
Whatever this is I feel, the pulling deep inside,
It’s a sensation I can’t deny, a force that won’t subside,

I don’t know what it is, that you’ve done to me,
Can’t express in words how your love has set me free,
So if you ever leave, would you please take me with you,
Cause if you’re ever lonely I want to be lonely too,

Can’t imagine living, without your hand to hold,
It’s only in your arms that I can bear the thought of growing old,
Need your touch each and every day that I walk this earth,
I’ll always go the distance cause I know just what your worth,

As night falls a warm breeze slips lazily through my hair,
I pull you a little closer let you know how much I care,
Let the sunlight dance upon your skin,
Let my kiss show you of this love I hold within,

Your voice lingers on the air and fades into the night,
The rest the world has slipped away and all is finally right,
My life, my love now ‘tis only you and I,
Left alone beyond the night to watch as time slips by.

May Today there be peace within you.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
"I believe that friends are quiet angels who

The power of Love and Devotion...  Your sentiments are well expressed and hopefully equally well received.  And you doubt your talent??  Write, read, write, ponder, write, live, write, love, write...  it's all an evolution of being, where the sharing of observations, contemplations, experiences, and emotions lead us to be more sensitive and write better...  I enjoyed.

(How could I forget to bid you welcome to this "wonderous land whose boundaries are that of imagination"...?  I look forward to more of your works.)

Thank you guys so very much for your replies.  They mean the world to me, I have been critized all through school about my writing recieving little encouragement beyond my mother.  So hearing words like that inspire to conquer the world with my pen, and beleive whole-heartedly that I will succeed.  Your words hit home in my heart, thank you, you'll never know how much it means to me.

May Today there be peace within you.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.

I think this was refreshingly honest and sincere. Keep it up!

Some superbly fine lines within this piece.  Lovely, love with exuberance and tenderness.
