There has never been anyone like you
You look at me and I become lost in your eyes
You warm my soul with your endearing smile
You touch me and my heart skips a beat
You love me and my heart belongs to you
You excite my mind and stimulate my senses

Did real love ever exist in my heart
before you came along
or was I fooled by love?
And am I now merely a part of
a beautiful dream that seems to have no end
or am I really lying here with you
watching you sleep as I
feel the warmth of your skin against mine

Two hearts - one soul
two strangers who became lovers
two lovers whose love can only be measured
by each others happiness

This night belongs to us
it's ours to cherish and devour
How much we'll savour this night
as such a night as this
may never be again

Very romantic and touching, nice write

Sue, you really understand how to express emotions that are not always easy to translate...  Through each of your poems, I vicariously touch another facet of Love, some of which trigger my own memories.  Blissful...

You're wise to savour it and know its potential for finite felicity. Enoyed.
