Hey!
Where is ever'body
are ya still in bed?
It's Saturday
ya could be playin' on the web
Ya could be writin' up a storm
fillin' to the gills
the readers and the writers
all the boys and gi'ls
Come on outta bed
rise and shine for all
if ya stay too long
it'll soon be fall
Lend us your eyes
your ears
and your poes
wake-up sleepy head
or I'll pull ya by the nose!

well, Virginia, I wouldn't mind being pulled by the nose but not by you!

B.C. Is it allergies or a cold? Or did you stick it where it shouldn't have been?

Irish, sounds kinda kinky to me.

Yep, and you will see more people read this on Sunday than on Saturday. Guess they just didn't get up in time.

Thanks for the read.

VAS - I just had to answer this. Remember, the nose just might be 'the rose', hehehe....

i wasn't here but now i lurk,
i had gone out to play or work.
i don't remember where i was,
it's funny how the mind works, cuz
i wasn't here but i am back,
sometimes there's no way to keep track
of where i am, i never know,
i wasn't here to read, although
i really don't remember where
i was, but know that i was there.

i know that i was not asleep,
perhaps i was just counting sheep,
and if you came to pull my nose,
i'd see you coming, i suppose,
and hide my head behind my hand,
stay OFF my nose, you understand!!

you have no right attacking faces
when you cannot find the traces
of some people who aren't here.
don't touch my nose! i hope i'm clear!!
well, i am back, so all that's moot.
but you're still out in quick pursuit
of all those others who are gone.
and that's the way that life goes on....

some people here, some people there
and some, you know, don't really care,
but YOU, my friend, you've made your point,
i'm glad i'm back inside this joint
but where i was, i have no clue.....
i could have been in search of YOU!

Yep, B.C. a rose by any other name would smell just as sweet, and a nose certainly smells...well, most of the time.

doreen, I so enjoyed your response in rhyme and I won't pull your nose any ol' time
