peridot

yellow-green’s lighting
seeking sparks of brightening
glints disquieting

peridot of green
soft bright color of tranquil
winking circumspect

influencing seen
in gem of comparison
peridot serene

A gem of verse! I have a stone that is about 40 years old. Sentimental treasure. Thanks.
Sincerely,
Regina

DecaFlame~
You caught the glow of this gem of my daughter's birthstone
in a beautiful manner.

Thank you.  I'm including it in her birthday card.
