Today's Tomorrows

I long to reach out
to ease your pain,
to help ease mine.

If you touched me tomorrow,
blindfolded,
I would know it was you,
for I am filled with rainbows
by your nearness.
Everything shattered
becomes whole again,
in your presence.

I long to walk beside you
in silence,
our time intoxicated,
even if for a short while.

My nights are measured
by small treasures, moments,
unveiled through your eyes.
As I turn each corner in thought,
I look beyond the shrouded mist of you.
And in the calm of darkness
embrace my dreams
and rock away in your thoughts.

~Wynter

'I look beyond the shrouded mist of you.
And in the calm of darkness
I embrace my dreams'

I enjoyed this.

Throw your heart out in front of you
And run out to catch it.

'If you blindfolded me tomorrow I would know it was you'...wonderful.

Let my words fall first upon deaf ears before a closed mind...
