My Grammar's always in the way
but Grampar says that it's okay
cuz lace and yarn all knitted nice
causes him to see her thrice

Once for love, once for joy
once for watching her be coy
And when they'd go for walks by day
she'd listen well to all he'd say

If he held her hand in his
it would put their hearts a-fizz
Her twinkling eyes would send a gleam
into the life of future's dream.

Their steps would lilt with levity
in triple time frivolity
And all the world would shine as sun
in reflections of their fun.

This is such fun to read!  A nice tribute to grandparents also.

I enjoyed this so much!
I mean just the happiness in it
was refreshing!

What fun!  some of my fondest memories are of my time with my grandparents.
