-=I Never Knew=-

I never knew such music
Until you spoke my name.
I never knew such a life
Until you made me go insane.
I never knew such rapture
Until we shared a kiss.
I never knew my heart
Until you gave it bliss.
I never knew such warmth
Until you held me close.
I never knew such satisfaction
Until you left your heart exposed.
I never knew such happiness
Until we met that day.
And I never knew true emptiness
Until the day you went away...

I like your poem and what it expressed, truly the feeling of first love is always sweetest!! I also liked the way your rhymes worked and... although the repetition of the first few words in each line seemed a little rigid to me, still a nice piece of work regardless!!   Keep it up!

Nice write...Sara.
So sweet...and then the ending just made it all sad. The font was a nice touch...

Nice use of the HTML.  Gave it a nice touch.  I enjoyed this... very sad, and something I'm sure MANY of us can connect with.  I liked the flow and rhyme througout.  It's not broken once, and that's something to be proud of!  Heh.  Nice work, Sara.
