I stare at the sky
on this rainy day, and dream
the dreams of flying.

Great work, Haiku is something I haven't written but I think I will give it a go. Thanks for sharing and a very enjoyable read.

I like this, but isn't this a senyru instead of a haiku? I may be wrong, but I thought haikus were about nature. Anyways, I like it,I like it!

Fading Away- Im glad you read, and enjoyed my poem. And about the user name, what can i say...thanx!    thanx for readin, and enjoyin!

Anonymous Albert- thank you for takin time out to read it. The poem came from experience, and it came from the heart. I just hope i can match it in my next haiku (or senryu, which brings me to...)

Skyfire- im so glad you like the poem. And as for it eing a haiku or senryu, im not really sure which it is. I always looked at anything with the whole 5-7-5 thing as a haiku (which shows that i gotta be on my toes about this stuff ) well, thanks for your reply!

Thank you for ALL your replys!

this one's nice and simple, to learn to fly, you mustn't be afraid to fall, i love rainy days, especially when you are on the island of sumatra and you can see it storm miles ahead on the waterfront, and it just slowly comes to grab you, i often see myself daydreaming in the storm.
