Hey guys! I feel bad because I don't respond often to other poems on here. But, I'm going to work on that.

Anyway, here's my vent.

I don't know what I'm doing anymore,
Every night it's something new,
Tonight it was something unexpected,
Something about being straightforward to get what you want,
Tonight it was a simple question,
"Can I have you?"
I didn't say yes,
I didn't say no,
The truth is that I'm terrified,
Afraid of this distance,
Afraid of these feelings.
The truth is I think I'm falling in love with you,
It's so incredibly typical,
The first time I fall in love,
And you live across the country,
It hurts,
I think you know what I'm taking about,
Do you listen to the songs you know I love?
When you do does it make you cry?
I know I do,
And I know it does.
I just want to feel your arms around me,
See,
You've got me talking in cliches,
But you've said it yourself,
You want to hold me in your arms,
And it's things like that,
That are driving me insane,
I want to tell you that I love you,
I want to tell you that I feel just like you do,
But it hurts too much,
And I don't know how long I can take it.

Wow, that was depressing but it felt good getting it all out. Long distance relationships suck. But, anyway..thanks for reading.

Yes, and that is just how life is sometimes.
I've been stuck in that space a few times myself. Fortunately not every day or in every relationship.
Keep writing about it, it may help you focus, and you will find the answer that is best for you.

sad but really good you get the feeling from the poem. The situation sucks but it will get better things tend to turn out for the best.
