Standing In Silence...

It feels
like you can't
get over
what's been
done to you.

It feels
like you can't
control what's
in your mind
and your body too.

It seems through
all the pain
and misery
theres nothing to
comfort you
but silence.

It feels
like you lost
your touch
with reality
and when you let go
its nothing but violence.

When your alone
what can you do
but sit and wonder
what could have been
what should have been
but what you can't
change now.

Ears ringing from
this quietness
of my room
I wish everything
could change
I wish I could change it
but how?.....

I really liked this poem, i thought it was very well written, and it hit home with me, and put how i've felt at times, down on paper so beautifully, keep up the good work.
