snow falls empty on the side walk
an eery feeling of death looms in the air
the mile, the distance, the snow
it all ends here my friend
with hands numb from the cold
mind filled with a new sharpness
this will be your last step
blood rolls off your finger tips
turning the snow a bright red
She pulls off her jacket
the blood stops flowing
there are gashes all over her body
torn clothing for the struggle of life
her heart beats to fast
there's a new feeling of tranquility
the sky orange, the ground red
this death is not accepted
the forecast is shady and stormy
dead eyes stare through life
her defenses are up
ready to fight, again
the sway of a broken body
the swagger of an angry mind
the determmination of revenge
the chaos in order, the order in chaos
no proof
A pattern of health, a puzzle
If only i could quit getting myself
in trouble.

Regina, this is such a deep writing, I don't think you mean it as you are hurting yourself, more that you have been hurt....and more so, that you are a fighter....in that respect, I liked this very much

Regi, this is beautiful.  It's motivating for me... you're a fighter, that's evident.  Keep fighting, and hanging in there
Beautiful work.  Another for the library..

Ina, very nice as always.Very colorful descriptive poem. Looks like you went back to writing the darker poetry.Very well written.

"Sometimes it takes a painful loss to realize you are free"- Bouncing Souls
