I haven't found the words yet,
But I know there in their somewhere,
I just have to find the way to say it to you.
Never in my life
Would I have thought this word to be so hard to say to you,
But never in my life did I imagin me saying this to you.
Trying to hold back the tears
I look into your eyes,
And say the hardest word I have ever had to say,
And that is goodbye.
I'm not only saying goodbye to you
But the Best Friendship that I can't handle anymore.
Because it is not the same,
Always trying to run my life,
Was something I couldn't handle.
But the one thing I didn't expect you to do
Was start to cry.
You were never the one to show your emotions
You were the backbone of our friendship
But today your tears flow down your face
I never thought you cared.
I never wanted to say Goodbye,
But you never wanted to talk about our problem.
I whip away my tears
I give you one last hug.
I open up your hand and place a ribion in it.
I tell you that "our ribion is always tied"
Don't ever forget that.
Because I will never forget.

Goodbye is so hard to say....some people say holding on makes people the strongest but i think its letting go and moving on..because that takes a lot out of a person. You are very strong to do this..i liked the poem a lot...i hope you are happier now

You know, you said in the poem the wrong that went thru your friendship
I guess there was no mutual communication
friendships won't work without it
maybe you ca sit down and give another chance to talk
friends are always worth trying again

acire~ what if you have already tried and tried again, and did this for the past 6 months, what do you do then? Let them keep walking all over you? Tell me what???
