The mirror stares at me
speaking its wordless ryhme
looking into my eyes
and seeing more than just a picture.

~~~
It crashes to the ground
shattering into refracting rainbows
bonding and repelling
into a spectrum of broken light.
~~~

More than just a rainbow
More than just a complexion
More than just a spectrum
More than just a reflection.

GREAT poem. it totally kicked majah booty. (yes i'm a mainah) *L* it's like your lookin in the mirror hoping to see more but you don't. not until like someone breaks that mirror by saying some other stuff then you see that there is more to you then just what you perceive. there's a whole 'nether side to you. well that's what i thougth when reading this anyway! *L*

This is awesome!  The message is outstanding.  The way you talk about the mirror breaking, and then the last stanza breaking it down.  Very nice work.  I enjoyed this a lot.

I loved these lines.  The poem had an excellent flow and everything, but it was the message that I wanted to comment on.  It was wonderful!  Ok, what more can I say??  Great job!
