The Moon in My Sky

You illuminate the moon,
Until the sun can rise.
I see the twinkle of the stars
When I look into your eyes.

But now my nights are dark
because the moon is no longer bright
and I can't find my way around
without the moons bright shining light.

Why is the moon not shining?
Are there clouds out in the way?
Just let the moon shine one last time
Before its time for day.

If the clouds could just once see
How the moon lit up the night
They would move out of the way
and let the moon shine bright.

I really hope that you guys understood that this has a deeper meaning than it may seem. I don't really want to explain it because it will defeat it's purpose, but please tell me what you got from this and what you think. Thanks,

heather, wonderful. My interpretation is that a shroud is covering your life with this person. The moon is his light that you carry around with you. I think that's right.

It had something to do with that this guy was the moon and that the clouds were our problems and everyone around us. So in a way you were right. Thanks!!

i've tried talking and it gets me no where!! i don't know what to do about him anymore. he has made it clear as day that he doesn't care
