Okay, this one isn't really one of my favourites...but I'll post it all because I wrote this one during Science 20S class when Mr.Margison was going over the periodic table...

Peaceful Dagger-

What is love?
Love is an infectious lie,
It shows no mercy...
torturing me with ever lasting pain...

What is pain?
Pain is always present,
Soothing my guilty soul.
Putting my mind and body at war.

What is war?
War is love, life and happiness...
What are they good for? Nothing...
It is merely a master of the dagger.

What is the dagger?
A dagger is what has been stuck into my back.
A dagger is what I run along my arms...
But none of this hurts more, than the one in my heart...

-------------

This is probably one of my worst...but it's pretty good for science class. Oh to cruel, cruel life and this sick, dirty world...and yeah, the name doesn't really suite the poem---but oh well...who cares right?

"Fighting was the only thing I was good at...but I at least I always fought for what I beleived in..."

That part was my favorite part and I think the best part. Maybe because I relate to it, maybe because it's carrying a lot with it... who knows. I just like it. Thanks for sharing.

I don't know why you think that this one is one of your worst, because I really liked it.  Then again, I haven't read much of your other work, but if this is considered a "bad" one, then apparently I'm gonna hafta read the "good" ones!!  I thought you wrote this so well, and I liked the way you started each new stanza explaining the last word in the one before.  Awesome work!

If that's one of your worst, then I definitely want to read the rest. Shame on you for insulting such a good poem. Life, beauty, truth, and experience are all just words... and when described in a poem.. through the heart and soul... it becomes a masterpiece.

Thanks for sharing this with us. I really enjoyed reading it.

You know its been a good day when you come home, realize you forgot your key again, and decide to climb through the doggie door instead of complaining

Hmmm...although the normal people didn't reply---I really appreciate some newer poeple showing up! Thanks you guys! I'll be sure to check out your work! I think my best would be "Dreams of a Small Boy" because all of my feelings are in it!
Yet again...thanks y'all!
