I look at you each day and know that you and I could never be But I'll think of you always and love you in a way that you can't see. And when I think of your smile I know its all worth while 'Cause im my mind you hold me close and your lips softly brush my cheek... Why can't it be like that? Where you hold me in your arms and never let me go... Why can't it be like that? 'Cause when I open my eyes I'm forced to realize that I'm alone... I see you turn to me in my mind and whisper, "I'll never leave so, Baby, please don't cry." And the thought almost makes me believe it's real, though I know it's something that you could never feel, and I can't help wondering why... Why can't it be like that? Where you hold me in your arms and never let me go... Why can't it be like that? 'Cause when I open my eyes I'm forced to realize that I'm alone... Everyone at some point feels lonely I know I have many times.But one day that feeling will go away and I hope everything gets better for you soon. Lauren |
