Reaching into the dark corners of my mind Trying to find words to write I come to a block, a wall if you will I can't make the words flow from my pen So much is on my mind When I go to write, I'm illiterate Reading other work I wish I could write Even to have half the words of some, I'd be thankful I can write, it's been done before So many emotions to sift through, it all clugs up And turns the pen in my hand to stone And I reach again, looking for new words But to no avail... Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". |

Nice way of writing about writers block. it does go though and you get this huge surge. it you're patient, good things will come. Thanks for the read. ~AF~ I look at myself in the mirror; am I vital today? |

Thanks for the support you guys... it just seems to me that I've had writer's block for the past 6 months! And then at 1:30 in the morning today I had a brilliant piece that I'll post in a minute! Thanks again! If you define cowardice as running away and screaming at the first sign of danger, then yes, Mister Brave Man, I guess I am a coward. |

CURSE the part of the brain the blocks up and doesnt want you to write!!! .....i hate writers block, especially during exams...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...i hate my brain at those times.good job on this one though sky...enjoyed it lots wouldnt it be wonderful if children werent scared of looking up at the sky? |
