Old Crocky. Fixed on me with steely gaze, A crocodile stares straight through the haze, Its teeth are bared so all can see, How he will devour me, Old Crocodile he’s ten feet long, Lives down in this billabong, Old Crocky Creek it’s known round here, The Local people live in fear, But what these people do not know, Is Crocky dear is oh so slow, He cannot swim to save his life, Ever since he ate my knife, But I’ll never let him get close up, In case he decides to eat me up, My enemy he stalks my boat, Hopes to grab me by the throat, But I’m too clever certainly, To give this croc a meal for free, He’ll have to work if he wants to eat, A tasty, two legged human treat. --------------------------------- And Continuing on the theme of crocodiles a repost... Eating my Crocodile, Slowly. Eating up my crocodile, That wasn’t very nice, I watched you all the while, Crocodile curry and rice, Crocodile, crocodile I did try my best, Crocodile, crocodile I’m not like the rest, Chewing on his tender meat, You wash it down with blood, Honourless I accept defeat, I hope he tasted good, Crocodile, crocodile I tried to save your life, Crocodile, crocodile I will help you wife, They are all clones, They lick their lips They clean out the bones, With their finger tips, Crocodile, crocodile you were more than just a pet, Crocodile, crocodile the best friend I’ve ever met, Devouring up my pet, Who’s the monster now? I wonder how I’ll forget, I sit and wonder how, Crocodile, crocodile revenge will be mine, Crocodile, crocodile I’ll make it through fine, Shedding crocodile tears, I watch them and wait, I play on their fears, And survive on my hate, Crocodile, crocodile let me see you smile, Crocodile, crocodile I loved you all the while, Justice is a crocodile, A flamethrowing tank, It’d make old Croc smile, But he’s gone somewhere dark and dank. The first one was very comical. Hura for comedy!! *dances* The second one had more to it than the eye would see. In particular the last couplet. Unless i am reading into it too far and losing my mind...  Thanks for the read though. Great work as usual. Keep it up. ~AF~ I look at myself in the mirror; am I vital today? |
