-=Lessons Learned=- One by one my tears they fall at the very sight of it all They slide and drip right off my face I wish I could leave this dreadful place Your smile is still with me, even though your body's not I think of all the fun we had and the lessons that you taught You taught me how to love, you taught me how to cry You even taught me how to mourn after a loved one dies You taught me how to hold a hand as you gently held my heart And now it seems you have dropped it, for now we are apart You taught me so much as I stood there by your side But it seems you forgot to teach me, how to say goodbye **You can't always trust the people you want to** |

That is so sweet!!!! I loved it, and it's so true. I too don't believe I've ever been good at saying goodbye, under any terms. (Through no lack of expierence however) Anyway, great write, keep them coming!!  |
