Julian~
This is so lovely.
I have seen the taupe of the sunset ...
how beautifully you've written it.
The graphic is a PERFECT companion.

ethome; Janet Marie and Marge: I'm never sure whether I shall hit my mark or not, but was thinking: taupe evokes a daguerreotype, that sort of hyperclarity coupled with ... nostalgia. Thank you so much.

In the right light, skin reflects the color of taupe...your painting here, and the commune, leave me to believe, two met as one....

a lovely write!
