A Night's Journey

Once again
I am awakened
by the ringing sounds, startling,
interrupting dreams of you.
Tapping on rooftops,
rhythm reigns.
A song heard,
lulling me to drift
into waiting arms, that hold
the memories I treasure.
Thoughts of you absorb
night's journey.

~Wynter

Most recognize lifes journey
by day few acknowledge the
miles we walk in darkness
and dreams
