Silent songs
In deepening night
Lost to ears but surely
Ever heart felt weight carried
Not on winds nor waves or lyres so made
Touching in mournful moments only unspoken emotions

Sorrow filled tears impaled melodies of
Old one last hope placed with headstone carved
No mourners tears only unheralded rememberances
Grips the soul in agony's blinding iron fist
Songs of lost dreams dead, the eternal dirge I sing

"The past my prison, confined in voiceless penance"

Welcome to Passions.  This is a deep poem.
I might suggest some shortened line breaks but other than that I truly enjoyed it.
