Heat of my Garden

In gardens of my minds entwine
I hear Sibelius sweet and low.
The music pours like heady wine
About her curves of sensuous flow

Stygian was my black of night
And Gordian the cords of toll
The only freedom was new light
To opened up my phantoms goal.

And the breeze dared what I did not
In tender spill it had its will
It glides her skin of apricot.
And echoes back in raptures thrill.

A thousand grapes of agony
Has opened up the bars of jail
Has sent me into ecstasy.
And now I see through heavens veil.

For I am curled in minds extreme
An Ibsens world of tranquil dream.

a sirenian's dream of complete compress
but no walk back and never regress
to float forward, in stride of light
for tho now gone from me, I still reach beyond the bright...

there are so many cool lines in this, I cant pick....
Do you see all the things we can learn from that vast mind of yours.
The places your vision takes us...
the imagery in this is so cool...as are the references to some of your fav muscians and writers...
By your words of rhyme divine from gifted pen...
you take us to that place in the mind where we can "just be"
very cool write Stinky...
like walking barefoot that verdant garden of your mind
*ww*   me

I'm hanging on your every word
Even if you dont want to speak tonite
It's alright
I'm sitting outside heaven's door
listening to you breathe

Decaflame,
A wonderful quote, one of yours I'm sure. Thank you.

JM,
I've put some honey in a cup
Some raspberry tea to sup
For that is all that I can do
To please the humming bird in you.

I'll admit that a few of the name references went over my head but I feel I can be forgiven for that as I only discovered Kafka recently.
anyway ranting here, while I was not able to grasp the importance of the names that did not stop me fropm enjoying this beautifully written poem.

Brutal and mocking but always therea crutch for enmity's saddest glare"

what an absolutely lovely read. A lovely sonnet, indeed
