I’ve gone a walkabout, so do not weep for me.
Following streams of time, walking through the trees
Trees of life with leaves of days, slowly drifting down.
Resting on the bank, mingling with my peers.
Discussing ways of life and all we once held dear
Then I’ll go walkabout right on through the years.

Don’t miss me when I go walkabout
What I was, you have.
I’m just on a walkabout, so shed not bitter tears.
If you need me when I’m on walkabout,
Seek inside your mind.
I gave you all I know, leaving all I am behind.

Then I left on walkabout because I had to go.
Find me in the clearings, as was meant to be.
To pluck the fruit of love, from heavy laden tree.
Tasting the juice of life and loving once again
Before we go a walkabout,
Til we love again.

Every little piece penned here is poetic pondering...when it takes one on a perfect wandering...

Hiya Logan,
It certainly is wonderful to see this here.  I love the path it takes me on and the way you describe it all. I most certainly will be looking into my mind more, Friend. As always in your writing, your gentle self shows through.

Logan~
Welcome to Passions.

I enjoy the idea of serenity found in a walkabout.

I'm sure you will enjoy your walkabout here.

Don't care if you're on a walkabout, as long as you'll return to this place, so we can ejoy your writing. Welcome friend.
