The warm Autumn sun is so welcome
On my back as I sit near the sea
Not too many people walk by as I write
Just the seagulls who keep me company

The small boats in the harbour are gently rocking
So gracefully they sway to and fro
Many will soon leave the harbourside
And out to sea they will surely go

The sand now is void of people
No sunworshippers are out there this day
Unlike in the middle of summer
When the beachgoers come in search of some rays

But to the beach is where I come to so often
Regardless of what time of the year
As I know that I'll find much peace and solitude
Any time that I choose to spend there

Hi Suetang,

This was a wonderful trip to the sea, I live close to the beach but seem to never get over there to many people at ours, very much enjoyed the trip with you though thank you,

Love, Cerenity
