'Waning Eloquence'

again, the sun sets,
and dreams go undreamt.

volume becomes the chosen norm,
as silence goes unrecognized.

peace and love forgotten,
flash overcomes substance.

and everyone dies a little inside.
why do you surrender that part of you?

we'll show no tears, this is your choice,
without a face, you have no voice.

where have all the humans gone?

Fantastic poem . The question is ... Were there any there to begin with or are we all just nothing ? I realy enjoyed this poem, it's very well written, and you make your point well .

This is very good....all poems should, at one point or another, ask the question...
