Prince Adam 2001 AD

My heart lies abandoned and alone.
In all the years of seasons and sage,
I am still a prisoner
in the walls of my own making.

But, when your arms engulf me
I am transported into a world
of Utopian paradise,
as decades of regret fall of of me,
like leaves from an old tree in an autumn storm.

My heart is a child again,
of innocence and hope.
And my body is a land of virgin expanse,
untouched and new
until your arms hold me
and create an imagery that celebrates a world
that no other coud ever command or conquer.

I feel the blossoms growing inside of me,
and your tender power takes my passion
into a symphony of beauty and rebirth.
I am so in love with you.
My carnal desires and blood of my heart
are carried into a metamorphosis
of angel wings,
that soar into your soul,
which is a mirror of my own.

You take my hand,
and lead me into that untouchable fantasy.
Where roses are always in bloom,
and life has unlimited possibilites,
as long as your breath is my own.

I love you.
You are my strength, my power, my Adam
in a garden that never before touched my heavens
until you touched my essence.

You are my Adam, my Prince,
my conquerer of humanity in its infancy.
Take my hand,
and lead me into Eden,
where all the beauty there was seen by the first
two people in love.

You are my Adam, and I am your Eve,
as we watch the second rose in its millennium
open its petals
in its infinite innocence
and eternal love...
...I Love You.

To be a man who receives such an honor... WOW. And people keep asking, naievely, what the meaning to life is... Isn't it rather OBVIOUS??? Profoundly descriptive in a most heart-felt way, Elise.
