Somewhere... out there...

ok...since you've asked
i'll tell you a tale
of just where i've been
no...i wasn't in jail

no earthquake nor flood
is what kept me away
not fire nor famine
did cause my delay

not illness nor pain
did hinder my visits
no physical anguish
kept me from your sonnets

i wasn't held captive
by alien beings
or caught up in some kind
of illegal dealings

for 'twas no such drama
that kept me from here
from people and poetry
i hold so dear

so, "what then?",  you ask
could have caused my departure
the culprit, my friend
is my BLASTED COMPUTER!!

Vicky,

So is that little pic a demonstration of how you type..lol. Cause you have to be nice to the little puter. You have to talk to it and say sweet things. Read it some poetry aloud just to calm it down. Dust it and clean its screen.... never raise you voice to it. They tend to frown on that and sulk and shutdown. Always blame it on the software so as not to hurt the computers feelings...

and just to keep him spry, do monthly defrags and Scandisk.

Cute poem, don't read that one outloud though...

A D O R A B L E !

LOL ... I like the way you handle a 'tune-up' !

Parker did offer some saged advice ...
always be kind ... they can retalitate !
(And he said .. 'de-FRAG' ... not 'be-HEAD' !)

yeah, I'd say go with the softly stroking idea. I'm sure it'll perk him up nicely.

A very clever reply, and I am lucky my son owns two computer companies, so I just go get me another one!  Whew!
