Oh What You Have Done To Me Oh what you have done to me… My days are filled with disorder My nights filled with restlessness My thoughts scurry through my mind My attention distracted in a moment I can’t concentrate on a damn thing This wide smile can’t leave my lips The giddy laughter flows without control And my cheeks are stained with flush My eyes play tricks on me, seeing you everywhere What my body hungers isn’t linked with food. Oh what have you done to me The way my life has been tossed in the air Landing chaotically at my feet. And because of you I don’t even care. All day all I think about is coming home To your waiting warm open arms. Feeling your strength envelope me Seeing the smile light up your eyes Hearing the love in your gentle voice Inhaling the scent of you that alerts my senses Oh what you have done to me You’ve added enternal rays of sunlight Even on the most dreariest of days You have filled with a sense of freedom You have made my heart fly out of control You’ve made my soul strong with the bond of love You have given me every dream I’ve ever had You have slowly become a part of who I am And made me so much better than I was Linked to my heart as long as it is beating Oh what have you done to me You have made me the happiest person You have made me the luckiest person You have given me the gift of love You have given me the strength I need. You have given me everything I’d ever want You gave me you TaraB |
